Born in Bulgaria, studied in Leipzig and settled in Montreal, STEVEN LAMB takes us away from the daily grind by his art – a joyful and picturesque fusion of Balkan vitalty, German precision and French artistry. STEVEN LAMB combines in an unique way all media in an effort to create his own world so that humor mingles ellegantly with serious themes, thus giving his works more life and meaning. He uses the grotesque as a medium of social comentary. His people always comic, distorted and exaggerated are immediately recognizable. What is typical about Lamb is his keen observation of popular culture and understanding of human nature.
